No more blinding white light. Screens are now big and crisp. Our attention on them long enough that our hard-working retinas deserve some ease along with their aesthetic pleasure

See Facts. No more waiting for news at six. Read the latest headlines on sports, weather, stock prices, and breaking news any time!

Similar to live feeds on news websites today, Ceefax created a kind of browsing similar to pages of a newspaper, the difference being news was in real-time, and the browsing habits determined which stories would be told on TV news at six.

The dark background was necessary for old TVs since CTR was not capable of lighting the entire screen at once (think of the black lines on TV shows on CTR TVs).

Dark Neumorphism is being adopted by companies signalling new technologies, such as bitcoin, financial firm apps, and car manufacturers such as Tesla.
Clearly, this style is seen as a futuristic look, making this trend gain traction today since, as always, the future is now.

The Future

Although the rising star today, dark Neumorphism is still a familiar aesthetic in some ways. Decades have gone by since Aqua, and perhaps rounded borders with soft shadows have overstayed their welcome. Will there be an entirely new trend in digital fashion? Perhaps Neubrutalism will drastically change the look of the digital world.
